for dietary management in the state of malnutrition or at risk thereof, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease (nephrology patients)
Brief description:
RECOMED® DRINK RENAL – a nutritionally complete, high-energy food (2.0 kcal/1 ml), with reduced protein (6% energy) and electrolyte content, intended for patients with kidney disease. RECOMED® DRINK RENAL contains fiber, isomaltulose, EPA and DHA from fish oil, and a complete set of vitamins and minerals.
Important information:
This product must be used under medical supervision. This product is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition. This product is intended for adults and children over 3 years of age.
Recommended intake:
2-3 servings per day in complementary nutrition or (more than or equal to) 5 servings per day in complete nutrition, or as recommended by medical personnel.
Warning:
The product is not intended for parenteral use.
Precautions and contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation.
Food for special medical purposes. Contains sweeteners. Store at room temperature, in a dry place, in a closed container, out of reach of small children.

USE
Add 200 ml of water to the powder in the bottle to the level indicated on the label. Shake vigorously until completely dissolved. If necessary, top up with water to the level indicated. The product must be used under medical supervision. The product is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition. The product is intended for adults and children over 3 years of age. Recommended intake: 2-3 servings per day in complementary nutrition or (more than or equal to) 5 servings per day in complete nutrition, or as recommended by medical personnel. The product is not intended for parenteral use. Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation is a contraindication to use. Store at room temperature, in a dry place, in a closed container, out of reach of small children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
