It is obtained by hydrolytic processing, which results in the breakage of polypeptide chains in the protein structure and the formation of shorter chains or amino acids, which are more easily absorbed by our body than longer polypeptide chains. Hydrolyzed protein is easily digestible, amino acids are more easily absorbed in our digestive tract and quickly used by the body. In addition, poultry - the raw material used to obtain hydrolysate contains a low fat content compared to meat of slaughtered animals, therefore it is low-calorie and easily digestible. Poultry protein hydrolysate, unlike any protein of milk origin, which are widely used in special purpose foods and supplements, does not contain lactose, which can cause food allergies.
