As restrictions are lifted, many people have started planning their holidays. Due to the still uncertain situation in Europe, most Poles will probably decide to spend their holidays in the country. Of course, it is important to remember that the pandemic is not over and to follow all safety rules (wash and disinfect your hands frequently, avoid crowds), but to maintain balance (work-rest), it is worth planning something

holidays in poland

What do we advise fit-freaks? Active vacations, of course! Where to go? What to look for? Here are our picks:

  1. A trip to the mountains

The Tatras, the Sudetes, the Carpathians, the Świętokrzyskie Mountains… our Polish mountains have a lot to offer people who like to spend their time actively. Walking, cycling, climbing, trekking, Nordic walking, or horse riding – there are countless possibilities. A holiday in the mountains is also a great opportunity to oxygenate the body, de-stress and calm down.

  1. Masuria "miracle of nature"

Thousands of lakes, beautiful forests, unusual nature - in such conditions you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city! This is a great place for physical activity in the bosom of nature. If you haven't tried your hand at water sports yet, it's high time to change that! Flyboarding, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddle (i.e. swimming standing on a board and pushing yourself with a paddle) and kayaks are just some of the attractions in Masuria. Sport and fun? The best combination!

  1. The sea and long walks on the beach

Long walks on the beach amidst the sound of waves, a refreshing swim in the Baltic Sea, kitesurfing in Hel, playing beach volleyball with friends and family, cycling trips together - can you imagine a better way to spend an active holiday? No matter whether you choose Tricity, Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg, Ustka or Krynica Morska, it is worth getting to know the local offer and opting for a sporty holiday.

  1. Relax in the Bieszczady Mountains

"What if you dropped everything and went to the Bieszczady Mountains?" - you've probably heard this sentence many times, but how many of us have actually done it? Now is the time! Everyone will find something for themselves in the Bieszczady Mountains, from mountain hikers to horseback riding enthusiasts. Do you like water sports? Perfect! Go to Solina and admire the breathtaking views from the cockpit of a sailboat.

  1. Discover the National Parks

It is there that you can truly breathe and free yourself from everyday life (away from the city and crowds). Where to go? We recommend, among others: Ojców National Park with picturesque trails (which are perfect for both hiking and cycling trips), Białowieża National Park (known for the fact that you can meet... a bison while walking there), Kampinos National Park, the Tatra National Park full of attractions, as well as Pieniny National Park.

When choosing active leisure, do not forget about proper hydration of the body. During the July and August heat, the risk of electrolyte loss increases significantly, and increased sweating can lead to dehydration. That is why it is so important to take special care at this time to regularly replenish electrolyte deficiencies in the body. Are you looking for a proven and recommended product?
