A quick and healthy lunch is the basis of an athlete's diet.
Turkey with vegetables is not only easy to prepare, but also incredibly nutritious. We can prepare such a dish even for 2-3 days. Don't be put off by Brussels sprouts - they are a valuable source of vitamins A, B, C, E and K. Well prepared, they are simply delicious.

Ingredients (portion for 2-3 people) :
Turkey breast fillets (400g) – protein 76.8g
Onion
Brussels sprouts (10 pcs.)
Yellow pepper
Mushrooms (10 pcs.)
Garlic (2 cloves)
Salt
Pepper
Turmeric
Oil
Vegetable oil
Basmati rice (or your favorite)
Preparation:
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Fry until golden brown. Then add the chopped pepper and fry for about 5 minutes.
- Cut the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove the outer leaves. Throw them into a pan and pour boiling water over them to cover the vegetables. Season with salt, pepper and add 2 pressed garlic cloves. Cook over high heat until the water evaporates. Then add the chopped mushrooms.
- In the meantime, rinse the turkey, cut into cubes and throw it into a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, turmeric and mix everything together.
- In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil and add turkey. Fry until meat is browned.
- Once the water has evaporated from the vegetables, add the turkey, mix and cover with a lid. Stew for about 5-10 minutes.
Serve the dish with rice. Enjoy!
