We don't reach for it because we're hungry, but because we're bored. What if we used this time to introduce healthy habits? Looking for positives in the whole situation, we have to admit that we finally have the opportunity to prove ourselves in our kitchen and regularly prepare healthy meals

We don't reach for it because we're hungry, but because we're bored. What if we used this time to introduce healthy habits? Looking for positives in the whole situation, we have to admit that we finally have the opportunity to prove ourselves in our kitchen and regularly prepare healthy meals.

Step One – Make a Plan

It is known that when preparing to go on a diet, the best solution would be to go to a dietician, but if this is not possible, try to set a certain number of meals during the day, with the proviso that snacking between them is absolutely forbidden. We therefore suggest 3 larger meals or 5 smaller ones.

Step Two – Shopping List

Ok, you already know that you want to eat healthily and not waste months of training. Now it's time for a list of products. As we all know, shopping at the moment is quite a challenge, but you are a fighter, so you can't give up so easily! In a way, planning meals is easier now, because you can do larger purchases for the whole week. Thanks to this, you will not expose yourself to leaving the house more often and you will approach the topic of losing weight once and for all! So start with recipes and the ingredients needed for it. If you are going for protein-fat breakfasts, stock up on eggs, avocado, chickpeas, tofu and fish: mackerel, salmon and tuna. If you prefer to start the day sweet (but also healthy), we suggest flakes (oat, millet, rye, spelt) and your favorite fruit. What's for dinner? There is plenty of inspiration! If you train, don't forget about products rich in protein, such as: chicken, turkey, beef, rabbit, salmon, tuna, cod, lentils or tofu. For a change, dinner should be light, so throw fresh vegetables and groats into the shopping basket. Remember that dinner should be eaten at least 2-3 hours before bedtime. When choosing the option with 5 meals a day, add 2 snacks, e.g. a slice of rye cheese with lean cold cuts, yogurt with muesli, nuts, oat cookies, smoothie or baked vegetables.

Implementation

What works best for our motivation? Visualization! Create a plan for the week and put it in a visible place (the fridge is the best in this case ;). Mark every day whether you managed to keep your resolutions. Nothing encourages healthy eating like the awareness that you are doing something good for your body, you feel better after it, and you have control over your ravenous appetite!
