We already know that in many Polish homes, this holiday will be different than any other. After a few weeks of quarantine, we have already become somewhat accustomed to the new situation, but the vision of Easter at a modestly set table, in a small group, still makes us sad. But listen, we cannot give in to the "coronavirus blues", so let's look for positives!

"Slim Christmas"
We are not saying that you should not allow your palate a little pleasure, but since this time it is not your mother or mother-in-law who is preparing the holiday dinner, maybe you should try lighter and healthier substitutes for popular dishes? Vegetable pate, stuffed eggs, bean brownie, carrot cake – these are just some of the fit suggestions. Do not forget that the most caloric are fried, breaded dishes with the addition of roux, sauces and the leader on the holiday table – mayonnaise! Try to prepare dishes in the oven, steam them and add as many vegetables and light salads as possible, which will be a colorful and healthy variety on your plate.
Movement
It's hard to get some exercise outdoors (unless you have your own garden - then you're one of the lucky ones), but it doesn't hurt to exercise at home, right? Since it's the holidays, focus on gentle stretching and moderate exercise. Yoga will be a great option here, as it will have a positive effect not only on your body, but also on your mental health. You can easily find exercises that interest you on YouTube. We recommend the channel "Yoga with Adriene", which is suitable for both women and men. You can exercise alone or with family members. It's a great idea for spending time together as a family.
And finally, something to improve your mood
Did you know that Elisha Nochomovitz – a Frenchman with 36 marathons under his belt, decided to deal with the quarantine in force in his own (rather unusual) way? Namely, he decided to run a marathon on… the balcony of his own apartment! In 7 hours, on a 7-meter balcony, he covered a distance of 42.2 km. As he himself admitted, he wanted to show his countrymen that excuses do not exist. So let these words be an inspiration to you.
We wish you all a healthy and Merry Christmas!
