For all those who are unable to completely give up sweets while on a diet, we have prepared a more dietary version of the popular BROWNIE.
Protein brownie
Ingredients for the dough:
- 4 egg whites
- 200g canned black or red beans (or cooked)
- 60g Cherry Liqueur protein supplement
- 20g cocoa
- 100g honey (4 tablespoons)
- 150g cottage cheese
- half a teaspoon of baking soda
- a handful of cherries
Preparation
- In a larger bowl, add all the ingredients one by one (except the cherries) and blend thoroughly. Add a handful of cherries to the prepared mixture and blend thoroughly. The mixture should be thick and easy to transfer from one container to another.
- Grease the baking tin thoroughly with coconut oil. Transfer the previously prepared mixture to the tin.
Note: only pour the mixture halfway, it will increase in volume during baking. - Bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Tips:
- Cherries can be replaced with nuts, raisins or cranberries.
- The icing can be made of dark chocolate with the addition of stevia or xylitol.
