Brief description:
Food for special medical purposes. A complete food source with a composition that addresses the nutritional needs of individuals recovering from illness or surgery, as well as those who are malnourished or debilitated. RecoMed contains all essential nutrients: protein, carbohydrates, fat, dietary fiber, and a complete set of vitamins and minerals. The concentrated form of the product facilitates administration and does not place additional burden on the patient's body. The protein contained in the product is the highest quality whey protein concentrate (WPC) with a biological value of 104. The amino acid composition of the protein has been further optimized by adding amino acids in the proportions necessary to increase the protein's nutritional value – achieving the optimal proportions of essential amino acids (EAAs) recommended for daily intake by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Indications:
For dietary management of malnutrition associated with diseases such as cancer and in people with:
- chronically ill
- requiring recovery after surgical operations
- in old age
Solution osmolarity: 500 mOsm/l.
One serving of 65 g corresponds to three carbohydrate exchanges.

Precautions and contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation.

The product is intended for adults and children over 3 years of age. The product is not intended for parenteral use. Contains sweeteners. May contain derivatives of cereals containing gluten and soy. Store at room temperature, in a dry place, in a closed container, out of reach of small children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
