VISCOLIS® is a bioregenerative injection designed to provide advanced support for soft tissue, particularly tendons and ligaments. The formulation combines hyaluronic acid and L-proline, supporting natural regenerative processes and the reconstruction of periarticular structures.
Action:
Hyaluronic acid reduces inflammation, moisturizes, increases elasticity, and supports the reorganization of damaged fibers, while temporarily reducing pain impulses. L-Proline, a key amino acid for the synthesis of type I and III collagen, increases elasticity and reduces the risk of re-injury to soft tissues.
Important information:
VISCOLIS injection should only be performed by trained healthcare professionals. Standard precautions for intra-articular injections should be observed.
Contraindications:
Confirmed hypersensitivity to any ingredient contained in the product. Pre-existing skin infection in the injection area. Confirmed infection of the affected joint. Confirmed systemic coagulation disorders. Do not use if the joint is infected or inflamed.
Side effects and complications:
Infection, arthralgia (knee pain), swelling, joint effusion, stiffness, limb pain, paresthesia, thrombosis, pruritus, erythema, swelling, pain and reaction at the injection site, bursitis, immune reaction.
Patient profile:
VISCOLIS® is recommended for patients suffering from osteoarthritis and other joint diseases. Due to the lack of clinical data on the use of hyaluronic acid in children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or Bechterew's disease, VISCOLIS® is not recommended for use in these cases.
Warnings and precautions:
- Standard precautions for intra-articular injections should be followed.
- Injections should only be performed by trained medical personnel.
- Do not use excessive amounts of the preparation.
- Do not overfill the joint space.
- If pain occurs during the injection, stop the procedure immediately and withdraw the needle.
- Patients with unusual symptoms after using the product should consult a doctor immediately.

- Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- Sterile product (steam sterilization – moist heat).
- Do not re-sterilize.

USE
Product in the form of a 2 ml pre-filled syringe for specialist administration. The injection of the product should only be performed by trained medical personnel. Standard precautions for intra-articular injections should be followed. Do not use in case of confirmed hypersensitivity to the ingredients, skin or joint infections, systemic coagulation disorders and infectious or inflammatory conditions of the joint. Sterile product, for single use only, do not re-sterilize. Read the instructions for use before use. Suggested shipping under controlled conditions (UPS COURIER). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
