DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
LactoViva Gel Activlab Pharma medical device is a high-quality gel that creates a protective layer on the mucous membrane. It moisturizes and protects the vaginal mucous membrane from epithelial damage caused by vaginal dryness, during intercourse, gynecological examinations, or physical activity. The use of the medical device improves vaginal elasticity, maintains and restores the physiological vaginal pH, which promotes the maintenance of proper bacterial flora in the vagina and reduces unpleasant odor.
The medical device has an acidic pH and helps restore the natural, physiological environment of the vagina, which translates into maintaining a proper microbiome of the entire female reproductive system (a microbiome is the entire set of microorganisms, including bacteria, that live in a host and regulate a range of physiological functions), which is why the medical device can be used in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV), also known as bacterial vaginosis, and as a supplement to therapies used in the prevention and treatment of endometriosis.
Under normal conditions, the vaginal pH is around 3.8 - 4.5, which promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria, such as Lactobacillus, which inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria such as:
- Gardnerella vaginalis
- Streptococcus sp, Enterococcus sp, Enterobacter, Trichomonas
- Candida fungi

USE
Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the gel! Then: 1. Remove the applicator cap. 2. Insert the applicator neck into the vagina. 3. Squeeze the entire contents of the applicator into the vagina. 4. Withdraw the applicator. 5. Discard the used applicator. Do not reuse the same applicator! Use the product immediately after opening the applicator.
