NeuroLip Extra 600 Activlab Pharma is a dietary supplement containing alpha-lipoic acid (thioctic acid - Acidum thiocticum).
The product is intended for dietary treatment:
- in complaints related to diabetic polyneuropathy (nerve conduction disorders),
- in people with carbohydrate metabolism disorders,
- in diabetics and people with a tendency to diabetes.
Thioctic acid (alpha-lipoic acid) is a substance produced by higher organisms that acts as a coenzyme in the oxidative decarboxylation of α-keto acids. It exhibits antioxidant properties and neutralizes various reactive oxygen species. Thioctic acid has been shown to have a beneficial effect on the symptoms of diabetic polyneuropathy, such as burning, numbness, and pain.
