It's a tough time for everyone. Regardless of what fueled you so far, whether it's work, hobbies, or meetings with loved ones, you have to put that fuel aside for a while and move on reserve. Sports freaks can't calmly accept the fact that from now on they won't be able to go to training for the next few weeks. It's as if their oxygen was suddenly taken away. Unfortunately, not everyone has heavy strength equipment at home or in the garden. So what can you do to stay in shape and not give up on yourself completely in favor of the all-encompassing fear?

We wrote about whether it is worth exercising when the state of epidemic threat has been introduced here . At the moment, we can still exercise outdoors, but the situation may change dramatically at any time. The Internet is bursting at the seams with conversations between actively training people. Together they wonder how to find the golden mean, how to motivate yourself within four walls, and in extreme cases: how to cheat the system and sneak into the gym. Psychologists agree that coronavirus is not really about coronavirus, but about our fears. Of the stranger, of alienation from society, of adapting to a new, restrictive reality, which puts the highest goal on a pedestal: maintaining health. Without it, no training will really make much sense. What good are perfectly developed triceps if you spend the rest of the month in bed? It is worth considering...

However, we fully understand people who, suddenly cut off from their previously mentioned fuel, cannot find their way. We keep complaining about work, about its excess, about not wanting to go to training again, but when these reasons to complain are gone: we feel empty. This is a good time for those who train to look deep inside themselves and answer the key question: am I really training because I love it? If you answered yes: you will find a way not to stop. In fact, you should find one. Why? So that in times of crisis, panic and a moment when there is no other topic in the media, you can maintain your space and not let yourself be completely absorbed. What's more, physical activity is simply good for our body. It strengthens immunity, improves general vitality, but also, and maybe now above all, has a positive effect on your mental condition. You probably know this state when you are so focused on lifting weights and crossing your own boundaries, you forget about worries and dark thoughts.

Of course, we would prefer to go to the gym ourselves.

Without a doubt. But we won't go, because it's time to admit to ourselves that it's not about the place, but about motivation. It's easier when we've already made the journey from home to the training and we simply have no choice, because it's stupid to sit on a smartphone for 3 hours within the walls of a fitness club ;) But to the point, how to find this motivation within four walls, without the encouragement of friends who are exercising? There is one proven way: remember how you felt when you started your adventure with exercise. Were you excited about the next training session? How the activity itself made you happy and gave you energy. Did you go to crowded, trendy clubs from the very beginning or did your whole story with bodybuilding begin with the need to change yourself, your body, appearance, well-being. Remember how much you wanted to achieve this goal back then. You still want it, don't you? So you will do it, regardless of the prevailing conditions. Remember how you said that people who train are superheroes? What counts is their strength, and the strongest do not see problems, they just come up with solutions right away! You can't download graphics from the net, you make a print screen, you can't change the settings on your computer: you try another way. What counts is the goal, and any way to achieve it is good if it leads to it.
